Behavior analyticconsultation that works.
BehaviorChain LLC exists to transform lives through the science of behavior. We deliver evidence-based ABA services with the compassion and precision that individuals with developmental disabilities and their families deserve.

What is Applied Behavior Analysis?
Applied Behavior Analysis is the scientific study and application of behavioral principles to produce meaningful, observable, and measurable change in people's lives. The emphasis is on behaviors that matter — socially significant skills, routines, and interactions — and on understanding exactly why those behaviors are happening before intervening.
What sets ABA apart is its commitment to evidence. Practitioners use continuous data collection, objective measurement, and empirically validated techniques to select and refine interventions for each individual. Treatment decisions are driven by what the data shows, not by intuition or convention.
ABA is most recognized for its effectiveness with individuals with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities, with decades of research supporting its use. But the principles extend broadly — to education, organizational behavior, sports performance, and any context where understanding and changing behavior matters.
Every decision is grounded in continuous measurement. If the data doesn't support a conclusion, the conclusion changes.
Interventions are built around the specific function of each person's behavior.
Decades of peer-reviewed research underpin every technique. ABA doesn't adopt trends — it follows the science.
The goal is always real-world impact — skills and behaviors that make a genuine difference in a person's daily life.
Services
Functional Behavior Assessment
A systematic, multi-method process for identifying the antecedents, consequences, and function of problem behavior. Every intervention we build starts here — because treating behavior without understanding its function is just guessing.
Includes
- Records Review
- Indirect Assessment
- Descriptive Analysis
- Hypothesis Development
- Functional Analysis
Behavior Support Planning
Function-based behavior intervention plans built directly from assessment findings. Written in clear, practical language that caregivers, residential staff, and school teams can actually implement with fidelity.
Includes
- Antecedent Modification
- Replacement Skill Instruction
- Differential Reinforcement
- Crisis Protocol Development
Behavioral Skills Training
A competency-based training model that goes beyond explanation. Instruction, modeling, rehearsal, and performance feedback until a proficiency standard is met — used with caregivers, direct support staff, and clinical teams.
Includes
- Instruction
- Modeling
- Rehearsal & Role-Play
- Performance Feedback
Pyramidal Staff Training
A train-the-trainer model that builds local capacity by equipping supervisors and senior staff to train others — extending the reach of behavior-analytic procedures without requiring direct clinician contact at every tier.
Includes
- Tier-Based Training Design
- Competency Verification
- On-Site Capacity Building
- Ongoing Coaching
Built for the people doing the work
Whether you're a caregiver navigating this alone, a clinician who needs a second opinion, or an organization that needs clinical expertise at scale — there's a fit.
For parents and caregivers
Consultation can give you a structured plan to address your child's behavior, the skills to carry it out, and someone to call when things don't go according to plan.
- Caregiver training and coaching
- Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA)
- Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP)
- Behavioral Skills Training (BST)
For group home staff
Assessment and consultation can help build a comprehensive understanding of an individuals environment and give you a structured plan to address barriers to success, the skills to carry it out.
- Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA)
- Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP)
- Behavioral Skills Training (BST)

What working together looks like
01
Discovery
A focused conversation to understand your situation, the behavior, its history, and what has already been tried. This orients the assessment and ensures we are not starting from zero when better information already exists.
02
Records Review & Indirect Assessment
We begin with what is already known — prior evaluations, previous plans, progress notes, and intervention histories. Indirect assessment through interviews and rating scales follows, generating initial hypotheses about the antecedents, consequences, and function of the behavior before direct observation begins.
03
Descriptive & Experimental Analysis
Direct observation in the natural environment tests the hypotheses developed through indirect methods. When indicated and feasible, a functional analysis systematically manipulates conditions to establish a verified functional relationship — providing the clearest possible foundation for intervention.
04
Function-Based Planning
Effective behavior support plans are matched to the function of the behavior, not applied generically. This means antecedent modifications, replacement skill instruction, and differential reinforcement strategies — all written specifically enough that any implementer can follow them with fidelity.
05
Training & Implementation
Using Behavioral Skills Training — instruction, modeling, rehearsal, and performance feedback — caregivers and staff are trained until a clear competency standard is met. For larger teams, a pyramidal training model extends reach without sacrificing quality at each tier.
06
Ongoing Data Review
Behavior plans are not static documents. Data is reviewed continuously, and the plan is adjusted as conditions change and new information emerges. The goal is sustained, meaningful improvement — not just initial compliance.
